i have a 6 month python for about 7 days now. i tried feeding her wednesday in a plastic tub but she just hissed at the rat near her....

My plan was to wait a week then try feeding her again in the viv so she won't be as stressed.... I planed on seeing if she would strike the rat if not i was going to leave it in her viv over night... a good idea?

the shop told me she was eating 2 rat fuzzies a week ...

any advice...
I'd leave her for a couple of weeks before attempting to feed. I generally give Royals about a month to settle as they can sometimes be easily spooked. After that I'd offer a rat weaner, Royals can easily demolish a fuzzy
