15ft of snake is a lot to deal with! and at that size its not really going to be something you can hold and carry around...if you are wanting that size then you will have to face the fact that it will have to be somewhat of a "floor" snake...my female burm is only just over 10ft and she hurts my back when i have her in the air for more than a few minuites, she is not a particularly chunky burm either.

The only one that's going to remain fairly slender is a Scrub Python, but thats going to be a nuts snake, very powerful at that size, and most definitely a 3 person job. At least it won't be a "floor" snake.

cheers all.
i do see where you are coming from with weights etc. i have had a look at the reticulated python thread and they seem to stay pretty slender? or is this not the case when they are fully matured? i like the sound of the slender scrub python, are they generally a nuts breed with a few gooduns or is it just bad personal experiences? also how hard are these to get hold of and at what sort of cost? |
