Thanks for the comments guys

He does normally have kitchen roll tubes but I'd run out and he's only little still and likes to have stuff to play with in his rub but i dont think he was too impressed with a toilet roll

aww bless him great photo!
my royal has somehoe squeezed himself under his water bowl, its a plastic dog bowl so has two little holes at the bottom, but they are about half the size of his body!
its now lob sided lol

Keep an eye out for wrapping paper tubes... I find that those, and the inner tubes from industrial rolls of paper/plastic, are brilliant for cutting into bigger-snake hides.
