I know, I have a royal . Kit it out good enough with enough good hides and cover, provide minimal stress then they will use all the space, especially corns.

Move it in im sure your corn will deal with it fine.. I have my yearling in the same sized rubs my adults are housed in. Just make sure you throw in a few boxes/hides/toilet tubes/ and some plastic plant foilage. Corns dont appear to get as stressed out at younger ages like other species of snake. If i did the same to my python it would start refusing to feed.

Cant see any problem with it, the agrophobia thing, is for a certain percentage of certain species(within reason), my grown on corns of a similar age went straight into a 50litre and out of 40 odd snakes they all fed

There are exeptions with any snake, if it doesn't eat, move it back

People said I was crazy when I stuck a 2 month old Everglades ratsnake into a well kitted out 4.5'viv ... it worked out fine ... he loved/still loves the space.
Just keep an eye on the snake .... if you notice signs of stress you can always backtrack to a smaller enclosure.

when i bought my very first corn i put her straight in to a 4 foot tank, and she was a hatchling, corns are really adventurous i dont see a problem at all, you may get the odd one or two that are shy, but most of them are fine.

Thanks again to all of you who have replied to this question.
I can see the arguement against putting them in too big a container, but surely if the snake has lots of smaller spaces to hide in it would work.(In the wild its small spaces within the big space).
For example; he could be living now in the standard 9L RUB, I could put the whole 9L RUB into this larger container as a hide,( perhaps with an entrance hole drilled into one side), and he could choose whether he wants the smaller or larger space.
I might try that and see what happens.
