As Pauline says get an air-con unit.
They heat or cool but dont get fresh air from outside, they recirculate the air in the room. I have been using them for about 4 years now with no problems both in a conservatory and a garage.

It depends on the size of the unit to buy.
Running wise they have a 1:3 ratio so for example 1KW of power used will give out 3KW of heat. I have a unit for sale as I have a couple of spare ones, might need to sort out a remote control for it tho unless I manage to find it.
