Must admit my retics & burms are my favs. You never end up wasting food with a burm in your collection...they'll eat anything. I have a 12ft normal male and a 9ft albino male who are soft as a brush.

I think the female must have pmt

I have no food worries with my larger stuff, my big retic Doris is mad for food. I have a purple phase that isnt too arsed but anything she doesnt eat Doris eats. Shes always been a monster with the food and has taken my hand a few times shes so keen, even when bbq tongs etc are used. More so than any burm ive seen to be honest.

Haha i know mate, gonna actually feed him a rabbit defrosted in water tonight, cause hes looking for me when i open the viv lol. That'll give me a chance to get a nice big soaking tub in his viv while hes eating, then i'll leave him to his crabby shed for another couple of days. 1 or 2 helpers at first though when handling just in case though!

Unfortunately Im on my own so I am lumbered with big snakes solo most of the time and the few people who said they were interested in helping out when the snakes were small, have turned out to be s**t bags now some of the snakes are getting big. Even though I made sure theyd seen big snakes before roping them in on them. Funnily only my mum is really into them but she lives 60 miles away so getting her round on evenings is a ball ache. Though it was her that got me into reptiles in the first place when I was little.

Mines not upto rabbits yet, at 9 foot, jumbo rats are the order of the day. I could probably get a small rabbit in him but I dont think its worth bothering as they are dear compared to rats of a comparable size as I buy bulk amounts of jumbo rats as I have a number of snakes on that size. Only my big retic takes rabbits but usually i give her 2 or 3 massive jumbos which still works out cheaper than rabbits of comparable size to the jumbos combined.

My big tiger will eat anything but is a lot more gentle with his food. Hes 16ft and takes large rabbits but still eats a small rat if any of the boas refuse lol. Ive got a female lavender who will come out to greet you when she smells food but my burms are a lot more switched on in general.

Mate im living back with my mum due to personal circumstances, so my 1 or 2 handlers would be my mum and 16 year old brother lol. I am comfortable on my own with them though, just if i sense a mood change in one them i ask for a watchful eye, and have them informed about what to do incase. They may still run and dial 999 though
