Cinders and het cinders

Gosh all those corns are gorgeous......

So what exactly is the characteristic that distingushes a cinder corn....I have never heard of them before....is it the ones that look like Anna's but have spotlike reddish patches in their saddles???? i.e is the 1st picture a classic looking cinder???

they are being called a variety of things, including anery C..
i dont know much abot them right now, and i suppose toyah has as much authority on them in the uk as anybody right now.. maybe she will answer you (coz i dont know how to lol)

Well mine as hatchlings look kinda like dark charcoals at first glance, but "wrong", with black heads ... then you look again and it sort of dawns on you that the colours are all wrong and there's a mahogany glow that there shouldn't be. The belly pattern is typical Keys type, but the checks are jaggedy like you'd expect in a hypo even though these are not hypo snakes - only time will tell if that's a cinder trait or a Keys trait mind you.

have a look on the serpenco thread in snake classifieds, obviously thats shop prices but..........

to buy one, and get it shipped to hamm including all fees would be about $1500.. and thats if you only buy a male, a female will be about $1770-80

There are not any UK bred cinders at this moment in time. I imagine there will be a limited supply of cinders hatchling in this country next year, but pricing - if they're selling at $1000 US, then you can guarantee they won't be less than £500-600 each here, for a normal male cinder with no known hets.
