She finally toke a rat :D

My royal finally took a rat. I feed her and jumbo mice then put a fuzzy rat nose up the bum of the mice as she was taking it down. she took them both easily. How much more time will i have to do this till she will willingly take a rat.. do you think ??

Congrats!!

Not sure about your question though, I only have 1 royal and it has only ever been on rats, though I should imagine a couple of feeds will do it.

Never tried this, but id do what you did a few times more, then try her on a rat weaner or whatever is of a suitable size

Nice one I would repeat this 2 or 3 more times and then try with a scented rat weaner of an appropriate size

Thank you all. I think I'm going to try couple times more just hope she feeds a rat at the end of it been try for about 6 months if not more.. if it works I would recommend it to any1 that can't change from mice to rats...
