One of the most interesting Vids of this type was one I saw of a juvenile African Rock Python vs a sub-adult Nile Monitor. Even though the Rock was significantly smaller than the Nile, it came out on top, quite easily too.

It's all about that first coil with the big guys- once thats in place, the scarp is almost inevitably a dead cert for the snake.

to strictly scales i completely agree these are definately set up they are definately not chance encounters i believe its the same retic that fought off the tiger on the net aswell.a friend of mine has alot of info on arranged fights in the late 19th century where a bunch of rich morons used to bet on im sure that probably still goes on to this day somewhere you might be surprised by some of the results i was, for instance grizzly bear vs lion everytime that battle was fought the grizzly bear won easily and believe me they tried it alot

Many of the one's i seen the tiger seemed the more skillful but lions where always much more aggressive due to that being there nature while tigers are more solitary. I didn't hear about the bear and the lion but i did see the bull and the lion that was mad

to ryan grizzly bear or polar bear against any of the big cats is extremely one sided the big cats die before they even get the chance to do any real damage its sad really that this sort of thing goes on.ive seen water buffalo vs lion regularly on nature programs but have not seen bull vs lion what was the result of the one you saw

Real life Anaconda v Jaguar. The Anaconda is at a size that could take the Jaguar. But the Anaconda runs to the water and the Jaguar just jumps in a pulls it out.

Anaconda-0/Jaguar-1.

the bull kept charging the male lion the lion was trying to find an opening but it was no use it was too powerfull, it was a tight enclosure so the lion didnt really have any space to move after about 2-3 mins the people got the lion out the enclosure. There was anotherone between a wild boar and sumatran tiger with result in the tiger getting a throat bite on the boar but didn't actually manage to kill it but the people broke it up, most are on youtube and are black and white films.

I have kept out of these animal v animal comparisons to see what came up. I can honestly say anyone staging these sort of fights is no less a nob than someone badger baiting or dog fighting and should be, for their own good, shot.
