Default Why won't my snakes eat???

I have two corns both between 2 and 3. Neither of them will eat even though they are both very very active. The male seems to be a bit horney but the female doesn't seem interested. Any suggestions?

If they are been kept in the same viv they may be competing for hotspots. If you are trying to breed them the female mey be stressed due to the male pestering her and males generaly should not be fed and usualy won't anywy whilst wanting to breed. Info on temps ect would help though

Viv sit's at about 32c during the day and room temp with a heat mat at night. They have fed well until the last month or so. I have always separated the two for feeding. And when they are sleeping or chilling they are usually together.

32*c is way too hot for a corn, 29*c is ideal, corns will usualy curl up together when they are trying to get to the same hotspot. I would try seperating them or if the last feeds were not long ago keep trying to breed them and worry about feeding in 2-3 weeks then keep them seperate.

If the female is 2 years old you should seperate, or you run the risk of her becoming egg bound

Its usual for males to go off their food at this time of year - one of mine goes about 12 weeks every year. Its also possible you may actually have 2 males, as males can easily be incorrectly sexed as females if they are tense when being popped or probed.

When shes not old enough to breed, but does, and then the she can't lay the eggs which become trapped inside her, leading to surgery, or alternatively death

Also, males and females together all year round can breed all year round causing massive strain on the females body

Theres also the usual stuff from co habiting
