Surely you are asking for pic hunters and time wasters to enquire by not posting the pics and prices.......?

...post pics and all the potential time wasters and pic hunters will be weeded out in one shot?

..unless you can explain the advantage of not posting pics or price on a classified ad?
makes sense to me?

I hate when the ad has no price, so you ask and you get "yeah, just make me an offer"

i totally agree with this part - don't get me wrong, I am trying to learn them all, but some things are just so much easier with a 'common' name attached! I found a reptile shop earlier with names of things and prices, but no pictures - I got so annoyed that I had to keep googling pictures of what they were selling, I gave up and didn't buy anything. If you want to sell something, try showing us what it is!!

Its not Latin, its scientific names. They're useful because you get things like "green lizard" which could be about a million different species, scientific names tell you exactly which one it is.

A good example is Red Tailed Boas, which alot of people use to describe both BCI and BCC. But you don't wanna be paying £200+ for a BCI do you?

The formal system of naming species is called binomial nomenclature (especially in botany,[1] but also used by zoologists[2]), binominal nomenclature (since 1953,[3] the technically correct form in zoology[4]), or binary nomenclature. The essence of it is that each species name is in (modern scientific) Latin and has two parts, so that it is popularly known as the Latin name of the species.
