Question plug in insect stopper and snakes ?

Hi
I just found a HUGE spider in my bedroom, this is a problem cos i'm terrified of them, a few people I know have things that plug into a socket and send some sort of pulse or something around the walls which deters them...
I know that some of these can cause problems with rodents but are fine with dogs, unfortunately the box doesnt consider snakes !
Obviously I dont want to take the chance unless I know for definite that its ok, does anyone have them or know if there ok ?

this is the sort ofthing i mean Amazon.co.uk: pest repeller ultrasonic & electromagnetic effective against mice rats and insect pests: Garden & Outdoors

Thankyou

That on the other hand WILL stop any living pests dead in their tracks LOL.

You're better off trying to find a cure for your phobia TBH. I used to be scared of spiders until I worked in a pet shop and decided I had to cure it by holding a chile rose
After that i bought a Mexican Red-knee. I'm still not 100% ok with them TBH but I'm fine with them being near me.

lol what happens when the dynomite blows holes in the walls and lets more spiders in ?

Seriously though, is there any kind of snake and house friendly spider repellent, I dont really want to kill them but they WILL die if the come near me.

Basically NO.

You can get spidercatcher thingies on a stick though for disposing of them from a distance.

the only repelent i'd reccomend is a ground based poison. That would kill them.

SOmthing like gel or strip that you can put on the floor. But that kills them quick.
