Default Frozen rodents

How long would you consider it safe to keep rodents in the freezer for before giving them to your animals?

My freezer is currently at -30 degrees by the way.

I say 3 months. if you keep them any longer they lose nutrients etc. I get all my frozen rodents coming in monthly, for two reasons, they are more fresh and freezer space

I've never heard that before. I can't see nutrients being lost over time?

The only thing that concerns me is if they go bad and make the snake ill.

I was told one month - especially as the ones you buy were probably frozen, then part defrosted, then re-frozen..

three months. it probably is possible for them to lose some goodness if left any longer... i don't leave steaks etc in the freezer any longer than that, so i treat the mice the same. Also i defrost the freezer every three-five months anyways
