Default Importation

I`m thinking of expanding my collection of corns next year, and was thinking about bringing some from the states. I know importing them is expensive and time consuming with vet checks and paperwork etc. Is it any easier to actually go and collect them, or is the legislation the same either way?

Your best bet would be to order them from a big breeder and pick up at Hamm which in every Sept and March

Or if that isn't possible, order from a reputable breeder and ask them how much your quota is for them to pay shipping, I paid $3500 and they paid and organised all shipping, all I had to do was collect from the airport.

Just don't forget you still have to pay 17.5% import taxes on the declared value of the shipment at the airport, I think
