stat problem

hi.
has any1 ever experianced problems hooking 3+ ceramic's up to 1 stat??

i have 3 x 150 watt ceramic's in 1 viv and 5 fuse's have blown in the stat so far tonite!! the ceramics are all hooked up to a 600 watt stat.

me head is wrecked so it is

Could it be a fault in one of the lamps have u tryed plugging one in at a time to see if its one light/heater fitting

Sounds like something is shorting out could be a faulty stat ive seen other threads on here about stats and if its a habistat there surpose to have a good repair service some one on here should be able to give u the persons user name on here

sounds like you have wired something up wrong, any pics of the set up?

ok, so i was trying the set up with a microclimate 600w dimmer and a habistat 600w dimmer, both have now kicked the bucket and wont work atall even with new fuse's. i must be doint something wrong. ill get pics of the set up now

it would if you don't want them to burn your snake.

can't see the wiring into the back of the bulb holder, but i can't see anything obviously wrong TBH

i dont think they are touching it, it was just a tought i had!

ill remove 1 of the gaurds and get a pic of the wiring into the holder
