Default seriously cant wait!

Well I have to say how jealous I am looking at what everyone has produced this season with their royals! We have had some success with our corns this year but now i am so anxious to get our royals breeding after looking at pics of little ones poking out of their eggs!

We have got 3 females which are so close to being ready! Esme (normal) who is our big eating machine is 1300g, and the other two Mindy (normal) and Minerva (spider) are just slightly below 1000g!

They will all be getting crossed with Mork, our Nerd line Pastel as soon as they hit 1500g!

Anyone else waiting like this or just us?

Cheers

Its not good having to wait but i know it will be all worth it in the end! Esme really is an eating machine, will eat anything and everything, even in shed! Just hoping she hits 1500g soon so we can give mork something to smile about lol

What boas you got?

Definately! Thats why I am waiting, im like a big child when it comes to the corns breeding so god knows what ill be like when we get the royals going! Mork wont know what hit him when it comes to breeding them! We are after another male royal just to give him a rest lol although would have to be something special as he is just gorgeous! Gets brighter with every shed!

I got a few plans

corns - going for cinders, whatever else pops out is a bonus

royals - this year just yellowbellys but hoping other morphs grow enough for next year

This year will be my first time breeding Royals . I have an 08 female who was 1335g last weigh in (19/08/10), but hasn't eaten the last couple of weeks , may have to give her a fresh kill mouse to kick start her again. Hoping she will start again & put on that last couple of hundred grams . She will be mated to my Super Pastel male who is over 525g now, so should also be big enough come January (may try switching him over to rats as he's a mouse eater). If he's not ready i have a normal male who i think will be (he's on a fast now & was over 600g when he stopped eating). I can't wait to see what Pastels i produce (well the snakes not me personally ).

We had a few corns out this year, best pairing being our granite male to our amel stripe female but only 6 eggs (but got 2 normals, 2 amels, one snow and one anery) but some good hets!

Its so annoying when they are so close to breeding weight- the last 200g or so seems to be the longest to put on lol i think they do it on purposeto show us whos boss
