Default Anyone working with Indigos??

Eastern Indigos are pretty rare in Canada and I was very lucky to obtain mine, just wondering if anyone else is working with them?

I've worked with a trio of these in the past and a pair of olive indigos too(the olives were a bit nippy though).
the trio were really beautiful snakes and very placid.
They're on my wish list for the future.

crazysnakedude just for future reference ours were eating 2 small-medium rats each weekly and we never had any probs

WOW, somebody else from Canada.....
There are only three people working with Indigos that I know of because as you said they are rare and very expensive at $1100-1500 per snake and are N America's most highly protected snake. One person is Mark IsBell in Calgary, Alberta, another is Annette of WrappedupinReptiles, also by Calgary and she actually has viable eggs this year and there is supposedly somebody out East by Toronto...
I think Mark has a friend that he sold a pair to called Ryan, that wouldn't be you by any chance would it??? I can't get into the other forum right now to check because some asshole hacked it...

I'm not the same Ryan but I actually live in the same town as the Ryan you are thinking of, lol. I know Mark Isbell and Annette and also know of Indigo owners in BC(2), Ontario(3), Quebec(2) and Newfoundland(1). The big problem is that noone has had much success breeding them, at least in Canada.

It's good to see some more Indigo fans, I may end up looking on your side of the ocean to bring in some new blood to the Canadian Indigo population. Anyone know of any breeders who've had success out that way?

I feed rats to my Indigo as well.....mine usually takes 1-2 small-med every week.
