Corn snake tank size,

Hey all,
Was just wondering whats the optimal viv size for a adult corn, do you have to intrduce bigger viv as they grow or can you start out with the final sized tank, and can you keep more then one corn in the same viv.

An adult corn can get to 6'. so a minimum of 3'x1'x1', but 3'x2'x1' would be better. You can keep them in TUbs until adult size. People do keep corns together succsesfully, but they may eat each other

The way I measure it is if you put the tail of the snake in one corner and put it all the way along the inside it's head wouldn't touch the opposte corner. i.e. back wall: 2ft, side: 1ft, snake: 4ft / the tank is too small for snake. (by the way, I don't actually do this to snakes.)

Hey thanks for the quick reply guys, Ive really got the reptile bug, got 2 beardies a while ago and really wanna get a snake, can you guys give me a few other options on good beginner snakes. Thanks.

I don't get this at all.

You should keep them in a minimum of a 3 x 1 x 1ft viv is what is generally told, yet it is also accepted if they're kept in a 50L RUB, which has an inside measurement of under 2 feet at 60.7cms, and 37cms, and 0.5 ft in height, making a 50L RUB having internal dimensions of 1.99 x 1.2 x 0.65 feet.

its diff ppls opinions, i keep mine is the said above, but some people keep em in 4 ft vivs...some people keep em together an other dont...
