How many chicks???

How many chicks should I have given to Patel ? - I dont feed chicks normally and it was xmas so I bought a few, Anyway he was due a feed yesterday so I gave him his rat (Small to Med size) then he proceeded to eat 5 chicks (was supposed to be 3 for him and 2 for Tina but she wasn't interested. )

I Dont power feed him (norm 1 med rat every 10-12days) but did I give him too much - I feel a bit bad today so really looking for some opinions
He seems absolutly fine, though a little chubby.
How many chicks would be equil to a med rat?

Patel is 16 months old and about 4.5/5 foot.

Just don't feed him for a couple of weeks. In the wild if he gets the chance to eat a rat and 5 chicks in the same night, he'll do it and then not eat for a couple of weeks so just do that. Better than wasting the food as he's not exactly going to suddenly get obese due to eating 5 chicks!!

agree with the above

leave him for a week longer than normal, chicks have virtually no nutritional value anyway so it shouldn't hurt him at all.

Cheers guys, Pretty much as I thought, Really just wanted other peoples views.
Like most of us he's now had his big Xmas dinner and he's gonna have to work off the extra callories down the gym.
