1) Boas in general do not have a pre-birth slough. Most, as stated earlier will have a post ovulation slough around 104 days prior to giving birth. Some slough midway. Others not at all. I have never had a boa slough just before birth however.

2) Your boa may be doing one of two things. a) it may have just ovulated, and what you observed was the post ovulation shed. Keep an idea on her basking behavior. You want to see her sitting on the heat in a tight coil. or b) She may be having a pre-ovulation swell. She is certainly large in the right area.
