Mark, I'm really pleased with him actually as he took his first small weaner last week. Hopefully he'll keep it up and eat everytime he's offered and put some weight on. Lol. He's pretty much 9 months old and still looks like a tiddler. He's healthy just picky.

Mark, my appologies but in the first pic that was posted the eyes & snake look quite dark (probably because it was taken in bad light) which is why i asked for another better pic in daylight. The second pic that was posted i can see a bit of green in the eyes so yes a nice Pastel, love the banded pattern it has .

He's very cute and I love the sweet baby royal face. Hopefully he's turned a corner though with his eating and will continue to eat from now on.

I don't really have a good camera so only using my phone so it's not great and had to go to a different room to take it as my room is quite dark so not very good for pics really. Lol

No probs hun. Yes, she's lovely and I would have snapped her up if I had had the opportunity and the cash. My male pied has also retained a reasonable amount of orange, although not as much as her (still he is a 2008...); it's very attractive when a pied doesn't completely brown out, like with pastels. You just got a pretty girl but she would make some very nice pastel pieds if you wanted to go in that direction.

Thanks, she is lovely and is very different to the male as you can see in the pics. I want to produce more Pieds and then keep a female back and maybe then do the pastel Pieds. I have a few projects that I want to do but need a few more females to do it. Lol

She is beautiful and so is he, I just wish they would eat. Hehe. Might have to try the fresh kill approach, just dunno if I could do it. :-(

How long since they have eaten? Both are (previously) well fed adult/sub adult and could happily go for months without feeding. It's the down side of taking on royals at that side-either they (rarely) feed straight away or they switch off & don't feed for ages. Not much that you can do either way (assuming conditions are correct); they will feed when they are ready, not when you are. I don't think that fresh kill will make much difference, just be patient, relax, offer food every 2 weeks or so and they will take when ready.
