Default Look what I found in my Garden - Please help!

Hello all,

I have came across this snake in my garden.
I see it the other day.. but it went behind the shed, I thought I was seeing things untill I saw it again!
This time I took a few pictures.. and a video clip (from my phone)

Please could anyone tell me what kind of snake this is.. if its wild, or it has been let loose.. also.. is it harmful, we have the kids playing in the garden, and don't want to take any chance.

Any help would be great:

Thats a Grass Snake, and it is wild. Non venomous, so no need to worry about the lil fella!

Cheers for the info

So are these common? .. first time I've seen one in my life!

Next time I'm cutting the grass, I'll be keeping an eye open, just incase he ends up in a million bit :-P

I live in Cambridgeshire btw.. Should I be expecting to see anymore of these little fellas?

Yeah they are fairly common in the summer. If there are ponds around where you live you may well see some more.

Id love to see one, Iv never seen a native snake!

No problem, if you see any more be sure to take some pics. I for one would like to see! lol
