U.S. Exporters

Hey guys,
can anyone tell me some good U.S. breeders who will ship to the U.K. So far the best bet looks to be Ballroom pythons south. They are the only breeders I`ve found with no export minimum spend policy.

if your looking for ball morphs talk to henry batten (Argentine boa) or Darren at CPR.

Henry deals in bob clarks animals and Darren, nerds.

Work out much cheaper than importing unless your looking to spend 5-10 grand.

There's not a lot of point in importing from the USA unless you are buying in large quantities (probably $5k+) anyway, simply because the fees mean that on a small order, you add so much % to the cost of each snake, that it doesn't actually become any cheaper than buying in the UK.

Your best bet is to go direct to an american breeder and agree to meet them at Hamm. It saves you paying over the odds for a snake you can buy yourself and cuts out the middle man.

You could try Terry Lilley at Coastal Reptile. He doesn't require a minimum order value.

as has been said minimum orders are really for your benefit as well as the breeders.

1 500$ snake, approx $500 to export plus taxes and fees at this end means you may as well have paid UK prices or even UK shop prices, spreading this cost over multiple snakes (or few HIGH cost snakes) is the only way to make it cheaper than buying in the UK.


Even worse if that snake doesn't make it, if you loose one ouot of a box of ten then ast least it's not a totla write off.

Hamm is a reptile show in germany, a lot of the big breeders go. MEaning for peanuts you can drive/bus and ferry you way there and pick the thing up yourself, not to mention getting to see the actual snake and have a choice.
