Just over a month ago.....

we were set out to get our first snake. It was to be mine. Anna my californian king snake. On the same day when we went to V & V my mum and dad saw a Western Hognose and thaught it was really cute and quite different. So, we ended up starting with two. Since then my younger brother got a jungle carpet python named flax. Great little girl she is. And my older brother was given a Durango mountain king snake a few weekends ago. So now we have 4 snakes, and i want more. Your all right when you say the hobby is an obbsession. There was no real purpose for this thread, i just wanted to spur some kind of convosation 'cos im so happy about these snakes.

I got a corn 1.5 years ago... (ish), and then got the BRB a few months ago, and got a scorpion a week ago... I want a blood python next year!

I want a scorpian, a white desert one. I cant remember the proper name of it. The White Desert Scorpion? lol. The only problem for that is that i dont know if they smell and they scare the out my mum .

I dont know what it is about snakes, and other reptiles, but them seem so addictive! I got my first in August 2007, was only ever going to be my only snake..... i know have 5 corns, and have plans to get a hoggy, and a royal this year

Being half term my daughter and grandson spent all afternoon here and she had a look round the rep room. While in there I got a little boa out to show her and she wandered round cuddling Vesta. Later in the day she asked if she could hold another so out came Murphy. An hour or so later while putting him back into his viv her comment was "It's funny how once you hold one you love it"

The beginning of the obssession me thinks, the trouble is her husband hates snakes.
