Default reptile shops manchester, derbyshire, sheffield

i posted on another thread & someone said i'd be best starting my own so here it is lol.

i live in high peak in derbyshire, i'm about an hour's drive from manchester in one direction & about an hour from sheffield in the other. can anyone reccomend any decent reptile shops in the area? and ones to avoid?

on the other thread, someone (sorry not got used to your user names yet) has mentioned viper and vine in manchester. do they have a website or anyone know where in manchester they are?

many thanks.

Yep, right here, as far as I'm aware, they don't have any IJ's but do have some beautiful Bredli's, chap in shop is really helpful and knows his stuff.

VIPER & VINE

Also comes highly recommended is Reptile Room in Blackpool

hi - I'm in chapel! *waves from down the road*

there's not much round here tbh.... there's a little shop in whaley which is quite nice, but i'd avoid the buxton shop if i were you

other than that... viper and vine is excellent if you've got time to get over there, or the other way there's the mill in chesterfield but i've not been there recently.

i've been to the shop in whaley a few times, my son has GALS so i've bought moss & bark & things for them from there. the people there are always nice & have told me they'll help me as much as they can even if i don't get my snake from them.

*waves back* i'm in new mills.

which shop in buxton? i know of a not very good pet shop in buxton but they don't sell reptiles (didn't think they did anyway, could be wrong).

i'm self employed & don't work wednesdays so that'll be the day i go to V and V. or sunday if they're open coz i usually visit me ma on a sunday.

ummm.... not sure I'm allowed to name them.... they're up on the little industrial estate where focus diy is.

haven't been in there since i got my leucy rat from them.... she was covered in retained shed and crawling with mites and i felt really sorry for her. i know if i went back i'd be tempted to 'rescue' something else but i don't want my softness to keep them in business

that's fine if you don't want to name them. if they're near focus, i'm sure i can find them. not to buy my snake from just coz i'm all curious now.

There's a thread about shops around the Notts area that might be of some use to you:
