I'm having to try really hard right now not to click on that link and buy me some slings!! Would it be bad to get some when ive already bought one T this weekend and just spent a fortune xmas shopping? Thanks pleco for putting temptation in my path hehe.

I know exactly what u mean, im browsing the site but i need to buy so many xmas pressies this month that i better go atleast one month without buying a T

About a third of the substrate on the side of the pot not in the picture is kept damp. No doubt the humidity helps her, but she never goes anywhere near the damp side and instead sticks to the dry section.

Here is mine, bought him from TSS as a sling in May. After alternating between moving his pot around, bulldozing the substrate around and barricading himself in his pot, he has now built a shrine to himself:

So much for that! I came home yesterday to find that my G pulchra spiderling had bulldozed almost all of the substrate in the pot over to the damp side, and she's now sitting on the dry plastic base. Perhaps it was some sort of protest!

Moulted about a week ago, starting to actually look more like a T now rather than a dinky little house spider
