Nice photos . I really love the T.gigas, you just don't seem to see a lot of photos of these about. Love the B.smithi too!

Haven't spotted the mantis yet though..... LOL

Edit: found it!! I guess I jumped to soon Funny how lots of people who keep tarantulas also seem to have mantids

lol used to have 13 species of mantid, breeding around 6 of those but been very ill over the past year.

Glad you like them.

T gigas is a very fast spider and hard to photograph safely. I was trying to hold the tub open, manually focus and hold camera all at the same time and tbh it was a lucky shot, the other 9 or so shots all came out unusable.

Keep them coming!! I'm rubbish at ventral sexing so I'm going to keep quiet on the boehmei . That T. gigas sounds fast! Sounds even worse that my H. lividum juvie (lightning doesn't quite describe it), it took a good few minutes to settle down on the cork bark for the photoshoot but was as good as gold afterwards, bless her/him .

What other species of mantids do you have? I've only got a pair of H. membranacea and a Creobroter pictipennis (she came as a freebie!). I'm hoping to breed the H.membs though (the male just shed to adult last night and the female isn't far behind!)

Thankyou for the compliments
I used to have around 13 species of mantid and bred abut 6 of those but have had a year + fighting cancer so I'm afraid I let the mantids die out

Am just starting again with a pair or H mems
