In my very limited experience with both tarantulas and scorpions, I have much prefered tarantulas. I only kept one species of scorpion, whilst I now have 8 species of tarantula and I just find their behaviours much more fascinating. I also think most tarantulas are far more elegant and beautiful than scorpions...

Husbandry wise, the species of scorpion and tarantula I have kept have been easy to cater to. Although it's a lot more fun working with the spidies, especially the speedy wee arboreal fuzzballs.

personally i think t's are better as they are more colourful acive and i just really like them and cant stop collecting them. on the other hand i also like scorpions a lot and id take a scorpion over a tarantula if i liked it any day and i love keeping them.

now that i think about it i like both lol

Totally!
Scorps are amazing at what they do, they jsut didnt grab me like tarantulas do. Generally ppl have tarantulas and a few fun scorps.
Ascorp is gerenally going to be more hotheaded, but still manageable until you get to the psychos, lol
Tarantulas are easier to obtain, and learn about. Scorps are much more specialised a field atm.
The most expensive scorpions iv had were 1.1 H swammerdami adults @ £80 (fing hard to find, hardest iv found yet, lol)
The most expensive tarantula so far was my M balfouri, 4-5cm @ £145
Its because of popularity and demand.
The swammerdami scoprs are 10x harder to obtain though.
BLooming stunning species of scorp tho!

Sorry! any excuse to show em off, lol

I have kept about 80ish species of T, and about 20odd species of scorp. T's are best IMO, but scorps are also great. The best scorps are the desert species, but as a general rule, they are far more aggressive and the venom is pretty potent too.
