Mantid Nymph Feeding

Hi all

Simple question ??? can you overfeed Nymphs, as am thinking of a kind of automated feeding system that allows Fruit flies to enter their enclosures ( saves messing around transfering them all the time ) using some pipework from the actual fly cultures...

Working on the principle of if the nymphs get enough food they wont try to leave food rich environment and travel down pipes to eat their siblings, any thoughts or suggestions ???

when they have had en oguh they will stop eating but then that means the flys will be crawling about the enclosure and annoying the mantid

Problem already solved, as my tiny tiny nymphs are taking micro crix !!!!
Very impressive to see them take down the abso bloody lutely massive crix !!!!

True true predators !!!!

Admitedly was on hand in case the crix got the better hand, my better half says I care more for the nymphs than I do for the kids . Told her the kids had never been eaten by a 'happy meal' !!!!

So guess who will be sleepin in the animal room ( AKA my study) LOL
