Default Emperor Scorpians?

Hey guys, Ive been thinking about getting a scorpian, but if I got one i wouldn't pick it up i would just keep it in the enclosure and feed it, a few questions though:
1. what heat do they require
2. how big to emperor scorpians grow
3. do they run fast?
Thanks for any help

Emperors are boring, go with something like desert hairys.

But to answer your question they do fine at room temp, grow to about 7 inchs and can be fairly fast in short bursts.

agree with the above emperors are pretty dull, desert hairys are wicked particularly if your not looking to handle, as deserts can be really aggresive! but alot me entertaining i keep my emps near my viv so room tempts usually fine as long as you dont live in a fridge

Dull when you can't see them yes but fantastic to watch when they are out.

Here's a pic of one of mine that I took about 2 nights ago:

if you do go with a H.arizonnsis or H.spadix if your lucky
keep in mind they are sensitive to mycosis, and are notorious for having bad molts.

If going for emps, I would get a collony going. They look great once set up, and you may get babies

Personally I would say to stay away from the desert species that others have mentioned, as they are pretty aggressive, and it's always best to start with something easy when it has venom.
