Default measuring spiders????

how do you measure a spider? is it their body sixe or leg span? and before anyone says yeah i know with a ruler or tape measure lol

Body length is more accurate and most people will measure that.

If you want legspan, measure diagonally from foot to foot.

when measuring a spiders leg span it is more accurate to measure each segment for each leg to get an accurate measurement, so if you start at leg (i) at the tarsus and work your way back to the femur and coxal segments. now do the same for leg(iv) and dont forget to measure and add the carapace length.
