Default Mantis housing

Does anyone know of anywhere I might buy a complete starter kit for a praying mantis?

Not sure on the species just yet, but I'm thinking something rather large.

I've tried Exotic Pets - Amphibian, Reptile and Invert UK exotic pet shop, but the P&P costs more than the kit itself and I'm not sure whether I want to spend that much just to have it posted next day.

Thanks

Just go to your local reptile shop nd you could probably just make up your own one. If its your first mantis then i recomend S.lineola. There a fair siza and beautiful. Theyre also pretty cheap.

Complete set up: Jungle Jars

If you want something bigger then I can highly recommend the Cylinder cages here: Insect Cages I've got my mantids in the 9" diameter ones.

go to a sweetie shop and ask for a sweetie jar..then put wet kitchen toweling as medium and a stick in there for the mantis to climb on..then your need some fine netting form a curtain shop for the lid and elastic band to keep it on.
