For myself ive loved Tarantulas for years but was too scared to keep them. Met my first one in the store and got one a month later. Sat down and watched it and they are just fascinating. Everything they do from walking, burrowing, making webs and climbing is indescribable. Fascinating things to watch. The danger element is also a factor. Having a Cameroon Baboon close to biting you after its just lunged and crawled up your tongs will leave a brown stain in your shorts.

i just find them very interesting, especially mantids, the way they look, how they catch prey, the way they look at you and wobble side to side sometimes(which is part trying to make themselves bigger or pretending to be a twig in the wind, lol).

Stick insects because of their size, i prefer biggish ones like 10cm+ at least, Macleay's Spectres for example look amazing, i admit as slow veggies their not exactly the most active pet but it depends what your after i guess.

depends really, i think they are very very easy to keep really
take P.imperator for example

tank-coco fibre-maybe some cork bark-scorp
n the occasional bit of food lol n thats basically it

scorpions are fun but it depends what you want, i personally only handle my reptiles not the inverts
just my personal preference
