didn't realise they could live communally, what size exo terra is that and do they each have their own hide or do they share without fights?

they can indeed live communaly but as im sure simon will tell you there is a slight risk in doing this, but P.imperator are usually a pretty good communal species.
Youv already seen one of mine, they are all pretty similar lol
except my H.arizonensis tanks, obviously there set ups are different as they are a desert species lol

as lycanlord says emp's can usually live quite happily together. If you mix sexes and sizes then there is a chance of fighting but mine get on fine. I originally gave them 3 seperate burrows but they chose to live in the same one. That tank is 45x45x45cm.

have you ever or do you currently own those Desert Hairy Scorps? I was thinking sometime next spring( when a lot of my £££ will be spent on getting a nice invert collection set up) of getting say 2 or 3 of them living together as my first scorps. Do they get along ok too and how active are they? I mean will they hide 24/7, come out at day, at night etc?

My GBB seems to do the webbing at night when im asleep and some random exploring during the day.

Desert Hairy scorpions will live communal but they are not communal scorpions, I had a few together that I had to split from fighting now and again. Not worth the risk.

LQ's are far more tolerant scorpions (illogical maybe!) and less aggressive, I left a few comments on the 'death stalker' thread if you want to read more into it but really it seems irrelevant since the person is asking for a desert setup and they are extremely venomous, I don't know why he posted a picture of them, and I'm supposed to be irresponsible! Stay away from that species!! However, the desert setup is spot on, very easy to replicate.
