Help
im moving home next year, (jan) i have a mexican red rump who has dug quite the burrow.

just worried about it collapsing on him/her, how do i go about transporting lil bandit, do i need to take all the soil out, and if so how do it do this.

it will be a 15/20 min tops drive but both my car and my partners suspension isnt the softest going!?

If its such a short journey then I wouldnt worry.

If the burrow collapses its not going to kill the spider, unless its burrowed into concrete or something...if it collapses, then I imagine the spider will just remove the soil itself.

Anyway, It seems like the effort and disturbance involved in digging the T out might cause more harm than just moving and seeing what happens.

My cat knocked one of my burrowing spiders tanks over the other day, the burrow appeared to have collapsed, but spidy quickly dug it's way out and within hours it had built a new burrow
