Default question about the spider shop.

when you buy a spiderling from thespidershop does it come in a vail suitable for houseing?

It depends on the size of the spiderling. Normally you can keep slings up to 1cm in the pots they arrive in for a short while. The larger ones will need bigger pots. You can order these from the spidershop as well.

i have bought six slings from there and they are all still housed in the pots they came in. which one was u thinking of getting

I asked this question in an email to them, and they said it was best to use something a bit bigger.

I've kept slings in pots Lee has sent me things in.

I guess it depends what sling it is, & what pot he sends it out in.

I've always had slings in film canister type things from Lee, but in my most recent order the slings were sent out in deli cup kinda things..

The film pot ones would be fine for burrowing or terrestrial slings of about 1-2cm & the deli cup type pots would be fine for terrestrial slings of about the same size.

However, in my opinion, I'd use something a bit bigger for any arboreal or burrowing slings or if the sling is larger than 2cm.

Just my opinion.

they do small tubs that are bigger versions of the tubd they come in i brought a couple when i got my slings from there.
