Talking Finally got my emps

Finally got my baby emps yesterday there so small i wasnt expecting it ...is it usual for baby's to be scared of there food all they seem to do it run away from anything that moves even little crickets

They are adorable! Just let them settle in a few days and they should take food. If they still don't take food after a few days, squeeze a crickets head and leave it in there, if it isn't gone after like one day, take it out and do it again with a fresh one.

Cute. I agree with the other poster: pre-kill the food. I did with all of mine, gets em feeding better.

also i found that waxworms are good , put them in the fridge for a few mins to slow em down and they feed great on them , and for some reason mine LOVE wax moths and will spend ages chasing them round the tank lol
