Default Spadix behaviour

My Spadix buried himself in a tunnel on a hill and blocked the entrance from the inside with sand.
Its been 8 days now.
Can post pics from the scene.
Tank temp is 25 at the moment and my useless victorian Exo-terra hygro indicates 45/50.
There is some unusual traces in the sand like he tryed to gather more with its tail or was still drunk from the Xmas party. Dunno.
Never experienced this before, its a sub adult so i thought it could be the molting process kikin in but its been 8 days now.
Should i remove a bit of sand from the blockage at the entrance and see?
Could it be hibernating? pissed off for some reason? too hot? dying or dead?
Any input is appreciated.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
J

Is it definately sub adult? They enclose themselves when giving birth.

Yeah, sure of that and its a male, forgot to mention it!
No change today, still in there.
Would it be a possible explanation if it was an adult?, dont think that the behaviour would change from sub-ad to adult.

When molting, desert scorps will (as you probably know) dig down, sometimes past two or three feet deep until they find sand damp enough. It could be he's looking for a little moisture?

Thought of that and sprayed a bit by the entrance and on the hill. 3days ago. its been 9 days a molt wouldn't take that long. I read on another site that it was apparently ok, to expect...
They tend to do this for periods of time... not convinced...
The conditions in the tank are fine, could be a little warmer though
We'll see tomorrow

It is natural light as long as possible then a spot light for the rest of the day.
Try to give him at least 9 to 11 hours of light a day.
The spot is shining from the top through an opaque sheet of plastic.
He is still in there today...
