feeding mantids
what do you guys feed your younger mantids on
is it just fruit flies??? cos they seem to be tiny and also when i use blue bottles shall i just get some maggots from the fishing shop and hatch them?

casters are a great way to get flies , also most specie will take anything such as crickets , small hoppers ext.
what species do you have?

i got a spiny flower mantis i cant get him to take crikets at all
