Default Is she ok?

Hi everyone,

My mantis (giant asian -female) hasnt eaten now in at least 5 days, she normally east a locust every 2 days. The last one i put in there is still there and the mantis has gone a very pale colour on her back. Shes definatly still alive as her head is still moving around.

Im thinking possibly she is shedding? She hasnt shed since ive had her since december?

Ive checked humidity and its around 70% which i was told to keep her at.
Anything else it could be?

if she's not adult and she hasn't shed for over a month then yes I would suggest she might be going to shed so take out the locust as if it knocks into her while she's shedding it could be fatal.

All the signs indicate a imminent moult, remove the locust ASAP as it could be the the mantis ends up as dinner, they do like a mantis leg every now and then.
