Am i being played?

Well, I got two Gambian Spotted Eye mantises from a seller. All went wrong and they both wouldnt eat, causing Death. Contacted the seller who said that they'd send me a Giant Asian or similair species out free of charge. Thought great. Then after several e-mails and about a month later, i gave up and filed a Paypal dispute. Then, out of no where, i got several e-mails of them moaning to me, basically begging saying ' once the oothea hatches ect.. please cancel. I said on terms that you keep me updated and stay in touch'. Now, its been another month, no e-mails, not replying and i think i've sent about 10 emails to the seller. Should i just let it go?, or keep hagging at the seller?.

No i didnt, as i generally felt that becuase they sent me out the mantises ect, they cant be a scammer. Must be wrong. Might do.

You will end up with nowt once the time has ran out for the paypal refund you havent got a cat in hell chance of getting anything from this seller.

Oh. Great. They are playing me!!!. Apparently paypal only gives you one chance at a dispute. Just got to let it go then, i suppose.

As a ebay seller myself if this happened to one of my buyers i would refund if i had nowt ready to send them or send new mantids out straight away. Fingers crossed for you.

How long did you have the mantids before they died of starvation?

To my mind, the sellers offer to send you a similar species as a replacement was a gesture of goodwill rather than a legal obligation, that they changed their mind and didn't bother is just hard cheese.

How long did they guarantee the mantids for on their site/advert?
