All my Ts are kept at room temperature with the exception of slings. They are all in the loft room where the computers are so its the warmest room in the house.

You shouldn't keep P. subfusca at high temperatures as they come from areas that can experience frosts!

All of my spiders are kept at room temperature also. I have ornata slings and a sub/adult rufilata. All seem to be fine at this temp, active, eating fine etc.

My spids are at room temp but there is a heat mat to put behind the tanks if it does look like it will be a cold spell

mine are at room temp, but i do have a heat strip on my spider rack, only because my lounge gets cold at night so that just keeps it that bit warmer, on a stat of course!!! they are all doing fine and thriving.

tee-hee, we all keep our Ts different and unless there's losses or strange behaviour then we all have success. People often quote temperatures as if its a static thing but as we know the temperatures fluctuate during a 24 cycle, from day to day, week to week etc. Go back a few weeks and we were covered in snow so obviously quite different temperatures.

Its an important point that the temperatures of a given country that many quote don't take into account that many species live in burrows or holes in trees where the temperatures are quite different within. Its also important to consider that many of these species only come out at night when the heat of the day is replaced with the cold of night.

Temperatures at the moment in my room, read with a digital thermometer, are about 72 and will rise to about 78. The slings are 75-82 depending on how close they are to the heatmat - they're kept in a large shelved Exo.
