Default stick insect eggs

i have a clutch on indian stick insect eggs, and i have had them for about 2 months now, can any one tell me:

how long should they be eggs for
or
are they dead?

8-12 weeks dont give up on them yet! have you got them on moist tissue?

prolific spec. they will hatch lol....what are your temps like?

they are kept around 17-20+

would you say thats good?

hmmmmmm the only thing that inhibits hatch is too high temp. it cooks the eggs.. these hatch better at room temp. Temp should be ok. they will hatch.

its just they aint got any specific heat, just heat from my toads tank

Rabymar is right. I've had some now about 3 months and just 2 hatched so far. I would give them a good 4 months tho. You can test them by squishing one if it is wet and orangy then it was viable, dry and empty it's dead. Only trouble then is you've lost the egg so I only do it if they have gone way over their time.

haha slinkies mum thats exactly my suggestion via pm to the op lol....however when he went to look at the eggs they had started to hatch ..whoop how are they hun?
