Default Apophysis handling pics! - (if you dont agree dont look lol)



She is suprisingly very chilled out! (When these pics were taken lol)


Please dont leave unneccasary comments as im very aware of the consequences of handling.

she's lovely and handling is your choice of course.

But as she's been mated it might be better to leave her alone really. Too much disturbance might discourage her from incubating and laying her sac.

If you were to be bitten or dropped the tarantula it could end in an injury. Some people dont agree with handling at all which i respect.

Yh i completely understand lisa. I took all this into consideration and i probably handled her for a matter of seconds. Shes a big girl though

Very nice mate, and why not.. I think if someones aware with the risks of handling to themselfs and the animal that its fine. Obviously though try to minimalize those where you can IE: Sitting on the floor etc.

Anyways hope you dont mind, thought I'd post a handling pic myself for the thread lol.

Avicularia Minatrix, male I borrowed for my female.. paired them but no sac yet anyways :P
