Default R.I.P Maleficent (Orchid Mantis)

My Orchid praying mantis passed away last night. She was 8th instar and about 6 months old, and absolutely fine yesterday. It was a shock.

I just wondered if it was possible for her to have eaten too much and fallen and injured herself. Her abdomen was really large and heavy. I tried to feed her little droplets of water to perk her up but to no avail.

Her tank set-up was fine, temp and humidity fine, she had an abundance of flies that she could eat when she wanted as I cultered them myself from white maggots. I am absolutely gutted, she was amazing and I just wondered if anyone has had a similar problem. She was very healthy up until yesterday.
