Default chile rosea intresting behavier.

my chile rosea was doing some really intresting things yesterday at about noon to 1pm she was inside her flawer pot and i could see her digging inside the pot then she was spinning a web round the soil so that the soil was in like a little web sack then she got this between her fangs and then gragged it out the hide and put it in front of the hide and started making a wall in front of the hide and then she left a tiny little hole at the top of the wall just big enough for her to get back in the hide and then from the inside she covered the hole in webbing fron the inside and locked her self in.

and tbh i hated spiders but thought go on just give it a try and now i just find them so instresting.

It sounds like shes having a little tidy up before she settles in for a moult.
It looks like you wont be seeing her for a while so make the most of it whilst you can. Next time you see her she will have a whole new outfit.

Yeah, she's excavating her burrow, usually a sign of an onsetting molt, but then may not be You'll find that spider have a million and one ways to confound you. Just when you think you understand the spider "Ah yes, I see. You're going to molt again." they decide not to do whatever it was and leave you speechless.

I swear they enjoy confusing us.

She will do until she's had so much she can't eat anymore. Then she'll starve for months...

Stanley Schultz writes an impressive and enlightening discussion on this in the 2009 Tarantula Keepers Guide.
