Sounds good! is the jar lid made of metal? if so switch to plastic.
6/7in of substrate should do fine, could mix it vith orchid bark or forest ground substrate for added stability. U will probably need a small spray bottle as well, its easier to use one to keep the hygro up (unless u made a false bottom) Cool turtle skull. -J
