Default im popping my cherry

i have decided to pop my pokie cherry and i will be getting a p. regalis sling. this is something i have been mulling over for some time and as the oppurtunity arrised today i thought, why not just go for it. i have been aiming towards one and wanted experience with other fast T's but i realised the only way i will get pokie experience would be to own a pokie. im really looking forward to the fun and excitement that these guys bring to the hobby

I did the same not too long ago also, it was a bit of a cold sweat affair getting it into its enclosure...but i think it was first time nerves. I hope you enjoy yours!

I did the same about 4 weeks ago and im glad I did, I got a sling around 1 inch long and it has to be one of my fav T's so far even the better half likes it lol. So much so she named her Grace Kelly for some reason.

The only tip I can offer you is that when re housing etc mine seems to like to run straight up so when I opened the lid of her tub I had her new tank above her ready and she ran straight in with out any fuss.

Its really good fun watching her feed, the first time I fed her the cricket was maybe 4 inches away and in the blink of an eye she had teleported over grabed it and teleported back to her web to monch it, brilliant!!!

oh yeah its greedy alright but just lazy when it comes to feeding time it just sits there lets the cricket go past it 3 or 4 times then decides to jump on it maybe its a tactical feeder measures the cricket up gauges speed needed to capture it then calculates the amount of energy needed to grab it then goes for it as for my p. irminia i put a cricket in or at least i think i did

GBB and Pokie, yeah, GBBs can run but nowhere near Pokie-lightning Mach V.

Beautiful spiders, you won't regret having gotten one. And yes, as stated earlier, being arboreal, if they're startled, instinct is to head for higher ground. Bear that in mind when rehousing
