Post union chiefs discuss next move - Yahoo! News UK

Imagine this may be worrying traders and buyers, alike.

Strikes?

LOL.

They would have more of a case if they were efficient.

Efficient would be - NOT putting a card through a person's door, without having knocked on it.

For example.

I know it's asking a lot for someone to DO their job, but hey ho...

Sigh, striking was invented to give the workers power against cruel and oppressive employers, not for minor grievances... something rail workers need to realise as well.

Precisely.

Moreover, unemployment is high right now.

Don't like the pay and conditions?

Leave the job.

I am sure someone else would snap it up.

At the end of the day they should count themselves lucky they still have jobs the amount of people being made redundant these days. Why dont they just start recruiting now and sack the lot of them that go on strike I mean how hard is it anyways to deliver a letter to a house. Mind you dont answer that I really am thinking of letting my dog meet the postie he is that

I suspect it's less to do with the average worker than it is about jerks high up in the union, it's all too easy for people to get swept up in stuff like that.

Just a point before you start judging people who have done no worse than most of us would in the situation.

Exactly Hedgewitch, thanks for being one reasonable voice out there...

NOT ALL OF US ARE ON STRIKE!!!!!

Thousands of us are pulling in double shifts to cover the mess that Labour led and funded Trade Unions are pulling Royal Mail into. Think about that the next time you vote for this pathetic bunch of unelected halfwits (Mandleson, Brown) into government. Only about a third of RM staff are in the union, the rest of us are still working...

SO GIVE IT A REST... IF you are so perfect what the are you doing on the internet instead of working? (I am on my lunch ...so bite me!)
