Default Hypoaspis the predatory mites

I have a question, its says online that Hypoaspis control scarid fly....

Do they eat anything else?
I'm looking for something to control those annoying little white mites that infest everything, so do Hypoaspis work against those too?

cheers in advance

Have you read my stickie on mites? Provides some valuable information. You can try to purchase predatory mites from laboratories, whether they'll control your flies I have no idea but you might want to contact a professional body to get an answer on this. Obviously removing any uneaten food, bolus and bebris is your best remedy.

I know they control flies but thats not what i want them for, i want them to control white mites...on the website it says they control scarid fly and other people claim they may control springtails and the like, however before i buy i want to know if they'll eat other smaller mites too....

and its a vivarium with lizards in that i want them for, not inverts, so poo and food is always removed, these mites are bomb proof, i have dealt with them in the past and the only way to rid of them was to rid of the source which meant getting rid of my whole collection + tanks....

...i dont' fancy getting rid of my lizards.
